Botany is the branch of Biology that deals with study of plants. Khejuri College was established in 1999, in Khejuri &ndash;II Block in the district of Purba Medinipur.It offers undergraduate course in Social Science and Humanistic, Science and vocational course. The college is recognized by the University Grant Commission and affiliated by Vidyasagar University. Botany also called plant science or phtology, is the science of plant life and a branch of Biology. The study of plants is vital because they underpin almost all animal life on earth by generation of a large proportion of the oxygen and food. The department started its journey in 2011 with general course in undergraduate. The Department is located at academic building and surrounded by green natural garden with a Big-Pond. Our department has one well equipped laboratory and a moderated teaching learning resource room. All the academic session our department completed successfully all curriculam related programme by lecture demonstration and laboratory method. Our Teaching faculty helps the learner to grow newly knowledge and conduct continuous evaluation through Online, MCQ, Class-test etc.&nbsp;
