AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

1. To introduce the concept of Zoology.
2. To enable the students to know the fundamental of Zoology.
3. Students pursuing Zoology subject study the characteristics and Developmental stages of animal life.
4. The department aims to provide a broad multidisciplinary course in Zoology.
5. To train students in a wide range of science based skills.
6. The subject also aims add developing identification skills, animal handling skills, observation skills.
7. The subject also proposes to student for teaching job and self employment (e-g. Apiculture, sericulture, pisciculture, Fishery management, Biofertilizer etc ).
8. To facilitate higher education and research in Zoology.
