ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

Department of Physical Education is a prestigious department of Khejuri College. It was started in 1999. The Department always tries to provide good and favorable environment such as academics, Sports, Health and Fitness etc. to the students. All the teachers help the students to be responsible citizens and good human beings so&nbsp;that they can serve the society.&nbsp;The Department also helps thestudents to pursue good professional careers like&nbsp;teaching, coaching, management specialists and many other prestigious jobs.The Department regularly arranges Seminars,Workshops and Add-on programmes for the improvement and upgradation of the students and the teachers. Annual Sports, Football and Volley Ball Tournaments are arranged for the students to encourage them, toinspire good habits and sportsman spirit, thus making them healthy citizens. The students also participate in university-level and state-level games and sports competition and win a lot of awards. Staff sports are also arranged regularly for their fitness and amusement. College authority also provides gym facility to thestudents and the staffs. The department has been contributing to the society by producing a lot of talents for 24 years now.
Physical Education or Applied Physical Education is to develop a comprehensive outlook of an individual with a strong civic position,moral qualities, sense of responsibility, an independent and tolerant person who is able to successfully socialize and to use different forms of physical education and sports in daily life to protect his or her own health and promote effective professional activities.
