1. The students will be able to know about the concepts, factors, philosophical, psychological and historical bases of education.

2. They will become aware about the importance of education in sociological perspectives.

3. Students will know about uses of technology in education, importance of inclusive education, adoption of new methods of education to make teaching-learning a child centric process.  The students will learn about statistics in education and it’s application in basic concept of educational research.  These will be beneficial to them in all fields.

4. Students will learn about communication skills between one another and among group of people which are essential for improving their specific learning abilities. The students will also gain knowledge about teaching-learning system of physically and emotionally retarded learners.

5. The students will realize the need of living a healthy life with a healthy mind. They will be able to identify different adjustment mechanisms, study the importance of peace and value education in recent times, learn how to avoid conflicts and to cope up with difficult situations.

6. The students are highly motivated when they will be highly enriched with educational thoughts of great educators. Their cognitive ability will be enhanced when they become conscious about cross-cutting issues like gender sensitization, environmental awareness and sustainability.

7. Students will learn about educational planning, organization and management process, the different types of curriculum need to be selected to promote child-centric education system and how proper guidance and counselling enables learners to become successful in life.
